We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to shape and implement a digital marketing plan to deliver our growth targets.  You will run the day-to-day management of projects across Google AdWords, Paid LinkedIn channels and our website (with support from a web develop + design agency, to be appointed) and be up close and personal with HubSpot. We are a fast growing fintech startup at the very beginning of building out an exciting and ambitious marketing team.  The successful candidate will be the second marketing hire for Weavr, be based remotely in the UK, report to the UK-based Head of Marketing, and be expected to take on a wide ‘all hands on deck’ remit as we scale up at pace!

In the short-term, you will design and implement the global digital marketing strategy and be hands-on in terms of delivering it, with support from our Growth agency, and be responsible for website (wordpress) updates and CRO projects.  Longer-term, we envisage the digital team expanding and the successful candidate building and managing a team of specialists. 

 Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Own and create B2B Paid Search, Paid Social campaigns targeting startups, scaleups in the UK, EEA (FH 2022) and UK, EEA, APAC, USA (SH 2022).
  • Work with tbhired content lead to deliver the required campaign assets.
  • Responsible for all Weavr’s digital channels, including the website (with support from design and dev agency).
  • Generating awareness, educating, engaging and nurturing prospective customers using a range of techniques and activities including PR, content, email, organic social, and SEO.
  • Liaising with the design agency to develop brand assets to support the marketing campaigns.
  • Report and analyse each channel performance, spend and ROI metrics.
  • Optimize digital campaigns to achieve best results.
  • Recommend new platforms and test new initiatives.
  • Develop strategies that drive customers to the website.
  • Improve the design, UX, traffic, and content of the website.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms.
  • Create email campaigns (HubSpot).

Essentials:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B digital management role.
  • Experience working with WordPress and HubSpot, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
  • Great problem solving skills.
  • Deep knowledge of web design principles.
  • Ability to identify long term trends in data.
  • Great communication skills as well as strong project management skills.
  • Growth mindset and can-do attitude.

Preferred:

  • Startup experience.
  • Experience marketing technology, payments, and/or SaaS products.
  • Experience of working with agencies and contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience of using SEO tools such as SEMrush.
  • Basic design skills (photo, graphics and video editing software such as Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Place of Work

Presently, our team is concentrated around London, Berlin and Malta but we expect to have a presence in other capitals in Europe.  We often work remotely, but have face to face meetings from time to time.  The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be based in the UK, and will be required to travel to London as and when required, circa every 4-6 weeks for team meetings, and, or when marketing events dictate.

The selected candidate for this opportunity shall be offered an annual gross basic salary of £60,000, a performance bonus of up to £10,000, stock options and other benefits.
