This role & opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant for our growing finance function. Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control (UK) and working with colleagues across the business, this dynamic role will directly contribute to Weavr's success by enhancing financial reporting, improving forecasting accuracy, and providing valuable insights into financial and operational performance.
Your work will support informed decision-making, drive value-add initiatives, and ensure robust financial management, crucial for sustaining our high-growth trajectory.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Financial Operations Development: Enhancing our financial operations ensures that Weavr maintains efficiency, compliance, and scalability as we grow, providing a solid foundation for our high-growth ambitions.
Accounting Function Management: Effective daily management of the accounting function is critical for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth financial operations, and supporting overall business activities.
Management Reporting: Providing precise and timely management reports allows leadership to make informed decisions, track performance, and identify areas for improvement, which is vital for strategic planning.
KPI and Dashboard Development: Developing and aligning KPIs and dashboard metrics with company strategy enables effective performance tracking and drives strategic actions that align with Weavr’s goals.
Financial Forecasts and Budgets: Accurate financial forecasting and budgeting are essential for planning and resource allocation, helping Weavr navigate its growth trajectory and financial planning.
Financial Support and Training: Empowering internal teams with financial knowledge and support fosters better financial decision-making and enhances overall financial literacy within the organisation.
Project and Contract Evaluation: Critically evaluating projects and contracts ensures that Weavr undertakes financially viable and strategically aligned initiatives, safeguarding our resources and optimising returns.
Collaboration with Financial Operations Team: Close collaboration with the financial operations team ensures cohesion and consistency in financial practices, promoting efficiency and alignment across the finance function.
Support for Financial Accounting Team: Ensuring the accuracy of financial information shared with other business areas and stakeholders maintains transparency, builds trust, and supports informed decision-making both internally and externally.
About You

However, it's important to note that a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a Fintech, SaaS business is essential.
Experience: Proven experience in managing financial functions, demonstrating ability to oversee and enhance financial operations effectively in a similar role, showcasing relevant industry experience and capability.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with various stakeholders and team members.
Relationship Building: Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial tasks and reports.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, allowing for thorough examination and interpretation of financial data.
Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, essential for financial modelling and data analysis.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills, crucial for managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Fully Qualified - or Finalist (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), is highly beneficial
Budgeting/Forecasting: We have a preference to candidates with a good understanding of budgeting/forecasting analysis, contributing to accurate financial planning and resource allocation
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge in the Payments industry would be considered a plus, providing valuable context and insight
